About the Memorial Elementary School PTO

The Memorial School PTO is a volunteer organization whose goals are to enrich our children’s educational experience and support the Memorial Elementary School teachers and staff.  These objectives are met by providing volunteer assistance and financial support for curriculum-based programs, activities, and materials not otherwise covered by the school's operating budget. Membership in the PTO and its committees is open to all members of the Memorial School community.  The Memorial School PTO is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Where do the funds we raise go?

The PTO provides financial support to Memorial Elementary School in many ways including funding for all field trips, cultural arts and multicultural assemblies and programs, science workshops,  teacher and staff supplies, science supplies, literacy materials, library books, Earth Week Activities and presentations, snacks for teachers to keep in their classrooms for students who forget to bring their own, several luncheons/breakfasts throughout the year for teachers and staff, and other curriculum-related expenses that are outside the school’s normal operating budget. 

How can you help?

  • Attend a meeting to find out more (see the tab for Board Members & Meeting Dates). 
  • Volunteer Your Time.  We have many committees that volunteer time inside and outside of school.  This is a great way to meet other parents and make new friends and a great way to get to know Memorial School.  See the list of committees  HERE or on the tabs on our website or email us at memorialnatickpto@gmail.com.

  • Direct Donations are always welcome and are 100% tax-deductible.  Click here for our DIRECT DONATION FORM or see the Virtual Backpack for the direct donation form.

  • Shopping on Amazon.com?  Use this link Amazon Smile and Amazon.com will donate 5% of eligible sales to Memorial School PTO.

  • Box Tops: Clip Box Tops from General Mills products and return them via your child’s backpack to: Bibi Artemiev c/o Karina Artemiev, Ms. Wassil’s class, Grade 4 or bring them to the school and drop them in the large box in the lobby next to the school office.
  • Attend our Bi-Annual Auction – our biggest and best social and fundraising event in one!  This year our auction will be held on April 29, 2017, at the Hampton Inn in Natick.  Check us out on Facebook (under Mustang Joe) to find out more.  Come Bust a Move & Support Memorial School.
